SCAR
Detailed description: Having a noticeboard sub-section on the main Discord for different parts of the map New Hanover, Lemoyne, West Elizabeth, New Austin, Ambarino Commands/items to implement: Discord channels for people to post flyers in, a lot of peoples efforts go unnoticed Benefits of adding: More roleplay opportunities, a lot of the county discords are somewhat barren so I feel this is needed and not to mention people don’t really check the noticeboards in game. I’ve seen it work well on other communities too. Just an example: People posting their flyers/posters for events, jobs, etc with their telegrams. Just feel like it’d be helpful given how the telegram script and noticeboard script works, it’s all just a bit dull. This would be a good work around instead of having it in different discords. Not that I have anything against that, I’m sure people wouldn’t be opposed to both. I just see a lot of good posters go to waste and I think people could benefit from roleplay wise. It can also bring more life to different parts of the map. Examples: New Hanover/Armadillo Edited March 16 by SCAR
arano
+1 It would be cool if there was a web hook that automatically posted everything posted on ingame notice boards in the discord channel

Shokkoth
Defeats the purpose of in game notice boards. If everything is accessible through discord people have no reason to actually visit the notice boards in game and look at them, which means people won't travel between towns hence reducing player interactions. There already are forum sections available exactly for this purpose. Edited March 17 by Shokkoth

Also you and me both know that people don't always join community-specific discords and some people don't even know that noticeboards exist in first-place. It doesn't hurt to add a webhook either and it doesn't deter any roleplay either. Would you rather not have the webhook and not get players in your town or would you rather have players come over to sell their goods, e.g players coming over to sell ores/bars to the local gunsmith? It doesn't hurt to have. Edited March 17 by Ese Frito

knppel
Also the ingame town noticeboards are terrible game design and not placed at places that are actually frequented to inform people. I would strongly recommend to not count their existence in in any way as they're an artificial ooc construct opposed to ic design (I'd put my poster on a wall for others to see it, not hide it amongst other posters at the post office to be looked up by like minded readers...), and terribly bad at the job they're designed to do.
Lawliet
In favor. My characters would reasonable hear of events that would effect the upper echelon of society or generally involve government staff (senators, judges, etc.). Having the ability to be able to know what's upcoming/happening via the central discord would be very helpful. And I still advocate for being able to post warrants given the borked script in place.
