How many characters can you have?
The current server limitation for Character creation per player is two.

How do I replenish my health?
Eat. Drink. Be merry. Also consider a check-up with your local Doctor.

How do I place a Camp fire?
Campfires are craftable and placed via your inventory.

How do I earn more money?
Visit your local cities and towns and inquire about work. Hunt or do deliveries for a minimal wage. You can also apply for a job on the forums with Legal (Doctors, Gunsmiths, Marshals, Sheriffs, & Horse Trainers) or Illegal (Fencing) Faction Management.

Can I edit my characters features after I’ve created it?
At this time, no.

How do I change my characters clothes?
After saving more than one outfit to your character, you can go into any clothing store and locate the Wardrobe to change your outfit.

How do I remove clothing layers?
Press F6 and select the bottom most option for “Clothing”. Individual layers can be removed this way.

Why don’t I have eyebrows when I first load into the game after character creation? Why does my character look different?
This is currently a known bug. Visit a make-up station once in game, found at the heart icon in most towns/cities, and you can reapply your eyebrows, makeup, and other facial details.

How do I revive my horse if they accidentally die?
Make a report for an Admin to assist you.

Are the singleplayer peds available for selection?
At this time, singleplayer pedskins are unavailable. This is a developing feature that we will be expanding upon soon! Keep an eye on the forums and in our discord for more updates as they become available.

What items/money does my character start with?
Each player starts with 55$, 2 bread, 2 water, 1 cans of Kidney Beans, & a gun belt.

Do I need to eat and drink in-game?
Yes, you must eat and drink to stay alive. Your icons in your bottom left indicate the levels of hunger and thirst.

Are there player owned pets?
Players can own various breeds of dogs via the donation packages. ((CURRENTLY PENDING NEW SETUP))

What timezone is the server?
The server is not set to any particular time zone. The Day/Night cycles operate on six hour intervals.

How do you emote?
If you know the name of the animation you can /anim [AnimName]. Alternatively you can press F6 and use the anims that have been preassembled for you.

Can I play with just Red Dead Online or do I need the full game to play the server?
Only Red Dead Online is REQUIRED.

How do I join the server?
Create an account on the forum. Head to the WHITELIST APPLICATION and complete it. You will also need to be a member of the RDRP Discord server.

How do I know when my whitelist application has been reviewed and accepted?
A PM will be sent to you and you will receive the "Citizens" role on the RDRP Discord server.

How do I switch characters without relogging?
Currently there is no way to swap between characters without relogging. You can quickly log by pressing F8 and typing “Quit”.

Is there a player cap within the server?
You will be able to see the current server player cap in the RedM browser.

What is the plan for donations?
Donations are currently on HOLD while we set up new the new platform.

How do you find your player ID?
Press B to open your inventory and you can find your Player ID in the bottom right hand corner of the window.

How do you link Discord to RedM?
This is an automatic process. Open RedM and accept the connection when prompted. If this does not work, reinstall both RedM and Discord and try again. If you continue to have issues, contact a member of staff so that we can provide more direct assistance with your issue. Alternatively, you can also join the RedM Discord and seek answers to your questions there.

How do I reapply if my white-list application is denied?
If your White-list application was denied, you should receive a Forum message from the handling Staff Member. The message will outline what issues they had with your application and their name. Respond to the Forum Message with any corrections they have asked for and, if approved the second time, they will reinstate your application and approve it.

How do I get a horse?
You can buy them at stables, marked on your map.

Is the train controlled by an NPC?
No. The train(s) are completely player controlled and operated.

Will a train constantly be on the move around the map?
No. There are multiple Train Companies that will operate across the map. Each company has a set number of stations that they service and they only operate between those stations. If your destination is not set within a particular Train Company’s route, you will need to catch a connecting Train to continue on your travels.

What sort of travel is there? (Are there boats? Are there wagons?)
We have two feet first and foremost. We also have horses, wagons, boats, and map-wide locomotives (trains).

How do you get a Wagon?
You can purchase a Wagon or Stage Coach from any Stable under the vehicles tab.

Can I play a veteran of the Civil War?

Is there slavery?
No. Slavery is outlawed. However, it is mentioned and there are heavy racist tones within the server. Specifically with sharecropping, chain gangs, and indentured servitude.

Where are the Native American reservations?
We have two Native American reservations. Both locations are highlighted in yellow on your map:
Wapiti Indian Reservation - Located in the province of Ambarino. Just north of the Cumberland Forest, above Donner falls where the Dakota River meets the Calumet Ravine, The Wapiti Indian reservation is nestled among a thick grove of trees which are indigenous to the area.
Tall Trees Reservation - Located in the province of West Elizabeth. A much larger area, Tall Trees sits a few miles south of Strawberry and equally west of Blackwater. It contains two rivers, The upper and lower Montana Rivers, the Aurora Basin and the Manzanita Post.

Will the Sisika Penitentiary be used?
Yes. It is currently undergoing renovations.

Where are the Native American reservations?
We have two Native American reservations. Both locations are highlighted in yellow on your map:
Wapiti Indian Reservation - Located in the province of Ambarino. Just north of the Cumberland Forest, above Donner falls where the Dakota River meets the Calumet Ravine, The Wapiti Indian reservation is nestled among a thick grove of trees which are indigenous to the area.

Campsites are craftable items, meaning that if you have the materials, you can set up a camp anywhere.

At this time there are no limits on robberies. Please keep common courtesy in mind when performing a robbery on another player.
