Support Team Applications
 

INFORMATION

Every once in awhile the Red Dead World staff family seeks new members, if you want to contribute to the community further then this thread is for you. We are looking for responsible and motivated players who wish to help the community and maintain our community beliefs and ideas.

As a member of our Support Team you will:

  • Handle whitelisting applications and assist applicants through the process of joining our community.
  • Assist players in-game via /helpme, Discord and the forums.
  • Participate in staff meetings where we discuss suggestions, on-going issues and decisions.
  • Have the chance to join one of our sub-teams (Factions Management, Roleplay Quality Management, Property Management) - this will be introduced to you once you have settled in the team.
  • Potentially assist the development team with testing new in-game features.

 

Requirements for this position:

  • Strong activity (in-game, forums, discord)
  • Experience with heavy roleplay
  • Positive attitude toward the staff team and other community members
  • Strong roleplay quality level

PROCESS

Once applications close, all administrators and above will begin reviewing each application and candidate as soon as possible. We will also conduct background checks (such as admin record, player-reports and activity) and make sure we have enough information to make a decision. Once every admin has a chance to vote on each application, Management and Staff Management will go through the votes and take a final decision.

  • It is important to note that everything submitted in your Support Team application will remain confidential and only members within the admin team will review it.

 

WHEN WILL I GET A RESPONSE?

Responses are usually provided 3-7 days after applications close. However, it may take up to 2 weeks to receive a response to your application in certain circumstances. We discuss each and every submitted application, which takes us some time - please do not message us for responses regarding your application.

 

I'VE APPLIED BEFORE, CAN I APPLY AGAIN?

Yes, absolutely!

 

I WAS PREVIOUSLY BANNED, DO I STILL HAVE A CHANCE?

This question cannot be answered as it is very specific for each case. That would depend on the reasoning behind your ban and its severity. It is our goal to uphold our staff team's standards at the top, however that does not mean people cannot make up for their mistakes in the past.
